Split Reel is a browser-based tool that divides video files into smaller segments. All video processing happens locally on your own device. We do not receive, store, or transmit your video files.
Paid subscriptions are activated by a license key issued at checkout. You are responsible for keeping your key secure. A key is intended for personal use by one subscriber. We may deactivate keys that are shared publicly or used in a way that suggests redistribution.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you select — monthly or annually — until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never receive your card details.
You can cancel at any time through the billing portal linked in the app. Cancellation stops future charges. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
The free tier includes a usage allowance stated in the app. We may change the allowance for new users, but will not reduce an allowance you have already been granted without notice.
Do not use Split Reel to process material you do not have the right to process, or in violation of applicable law. Do not attempt to interfere with the service or circumvent its billing.
Split Reel is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Because processing runs on your own device, results depend on your hardware and browser.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Split Reel is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data or footage.
Keep backups of your original files.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email where we have one. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Arkansas, USA.
